Kayla Vance, M.Ed., LCMHCA, NCC

Mental Health Therapist

As a dedicated and empathetic therapist, my passion lies in supporting individuals through their everyday lives. My priority is to create a therapeutic environment where each client feels welcome, safe, and authentic. I primarily work with children, teens, and young adults, focusing on challenges such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, coping skills, personal goals, and more. Being a part of each individual's journey and guiding them through life's twists and turns is a privilege I hold dearly.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and strengths-based, focusing on the unique characteristics and strengths of each individual to foster change. I integrate this approach with evidence-based interventions such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, along with other creative techniques tailored to each client's needs. One of my favorite quotes is, “You can’t pour from an empty cup,” which underscores the importance of self-care, self-love, and sustaining motivation in life.

Personal experiences have profoundly shaped my path in mental health, reinforcing my commitment to ensuring no one feels unsupported. Through my own challenges and growth, I have developed a deep empathy and understanding of the complexities of mental health, which drives my passion for helping others navigate their own paths. If you feel my approach resonates with what you are seeking in therapy, please don't hesitate to reach out. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you along the journey of life!
